Class Notes: Interpretation of Religion
In a similar vein as last week, it is finals folks and I am swamped, stressed, and trying to figure out what my nexts steps are post graduation (ahhh cue all the existential crisis). Since my life has been fully consumed by university lately, I thought I‘d share my final project from one of my favorite classes this semester; ANTH 195: Interpretation of Religion. For the project we had to choose one topic related to religion and apply several theories of religion we learned in the class to analyze how the topic relates to broader themes in cultural, historical, social, and religious worlds. We were allowed to choose any text-based format from a traditional essay to a podcast episome, comic, poster, slideshow presentation, multimeida platform, screenplay, newspaper, or creating an infographic which was my decision. This class was really enjoyable and I hope you have fun reading my infographic on the commodification of Wiccan religious items.
